Delonte West has entered a drug rehab facility with the help of Dallas Mavericks owner Mark Cuban and is set to go through the first phase of a tough detox program. According to a new report, West appears to be doing as well as possible during the grueling process.
TMZ shared details of West’s treatment to date after he and Cubans volunteered to enter a rehab facility at the urging of his family and his mother’s help. Found by a Cuban at a gas station in Dallas, West has struggled with mental health and drug problems for quite some time after his NBA career stalled.
West, who played two stints for the Boston Celtics and brought him to 24th overall in the 2004 NBA Draft, played for the Cuban team in the 2011/12 season. West last played for the Texas Legends des G Leauge in 2015 after being injured.
Good luck to you, Delonte West.
